Four-laning was completed from Rosia Rd to Stoney Camp Rd in 2020, a bus turnaround has been constructed along with the installation of additional safety barriers, work continues expanding the highway from Johanna St to South St.
Together with the community I've fought hard to get improvements to the Mt Lindesay Highway. Since being elected as the Member for Logan in 2015, I have worked hard with the community to secure millions in funding for the highway. We've put the Mount Lindesay Highway back on the agenda, but there is so much more to do. If you support the Mount Lindesay Highway then sign the petition below to show it matters to you.
I'll continue to fight for the highway, in the 2023/24 Budget I have secured:
$24 million expanding the Mount Lindesay highway from 2 to 4 lanes from Johanna St to South St

Completed work
- $13.4 million safety improvements along the Mount Lindesay Highway from Jimboomba to Beaudesert.
- $37.5 million investment to four-lane and make safety improvements between Stoney Camp Rd and Chambers Flat Rd on the Mount Lindesay Highway.
- $10 million for pavement widening on Beaudesert-Beenleigh Rd between Armstrong Rd and Stubbin St.
- $1.8 million for widening and safety improvements at the intersection of Camp Cable Rd and Edelsten Rd.
- $5.5 million for planning of the Salisbury to Beaudesert Passenger Rail
- $3 million towards a business case for upgrades between North Maclean and Jimboomba
- $500,000 out of $1.5 million for planning of the future Park Ridge Connector.
Other notable projects that have been completed include:
- The Mt Lindesay Highway Safety Review
- The Camp Cable Rd Intersection upgrade
- The turning lane at Gleneagle School
- Safer railings at Park Ridge
I am also pleased to announce the completion of the upgrade to the Illaweena Street and Beaudesert Road Intersection. Although this intersection is just outside the electorate of Logan, I know that Logan residents and I use this road on a regular basis.
The upgrade includes:
• Upgrading Beaudesert Road to six lanes for approximately 450 metres south of Illaweena Street (to tie into the Logan Enhancement Project)
• Upgrading Beaudesert Road to six lanes north of Illaweena Street and tying into the existing four-lane carriageway
• Replacing left-turn slip lanes at the intersection with signalised left-turn lanes
• Extending the right-turn lanes at the intersection to increase capacity
• Safer pedestrian and cycle crossings at the intersection
• Upgrading bus stops located before and after the intersection
• Providing a shared path adjacent to Beaudesert Road northbound lanes.
On top of this I've also stood up with the community to gain significant improvements to the Mt Lindesay-Logan Motorway-Gateway intersection.
